This stunning American Oak unit was designed as a chest of drawers but it also houses two deep hampers for laundry. The bevel on the solid timber case frames the unit and is reflected in the chamfer used on the legs. The case and doors are solid Oak while the drawers are made from modern birch ply with a highly durable melamine surface. The client chose this material for the drawers as it reflects a lot of light into the drawers and is also completely water resistant and very easy to clean.
